Amtrak's Maple Leaf rolls westward above the High Falls in Rochester, New York. I must return to shoot this in the late afternoon or evening for Pete's sake as the light was not my friend here.

Mini Card Lesson⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ The High Priestess⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ This card is a balance to the Magician. The Magician is all about getting things out of you, whereas the High Priestess is about going in. It’s about getting quiet, being passive, and a reminder that softness is a strength, not a weakness.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ We see a veil that separates us from the unknown. This a reminder that we can’t know everything at the beginning of a journey. We must accept our lack of knowledge and be willing to work for it. Pomegranates on the veil are meant to represent Persephone, the underworld, and our shadow side. We see balance in the card numbered two with the black and white pillars. Duality is important in this card and throughout the tarot. We are all things. We can’t hide from the parts of ourselves that we don't like, and we must work towards acceptance.
