“ Quite the defender of justice aren’t you?  “

Mocking tone tangles around his words as she looks at the girl that appeared as if out of nowhere. Between the two of them are two thugs, with weapons and all but Ogata’s barrel towards them. 

“ They started it you know? “

He pulls the bolt poking the cheek of one of the guys with the gun on the process, if he shoots from distance this short not even his eye can interfere.

“ Since you’re the defender of justice you understand right? It’s for greater good and all. “

Not that he’s there to represent that.

Whatever’s been spreading through the city, Makoto feels like she’s caught it too. She doesn’t feel... great, and while she hasn’t put anyone in a headlock yet, it’s been very tempting. It feels like her gut is filled with gasoline and that it might spark at any moment.

Stomping through Spirale, Makoto tries to keep to the less-crowded side streets to avoid any further consternation. She doesn’t like feeling like this, but at the same time, it doesn’t feel wrong, and the thought of it makes her brow knit. For a moment, she shuts her eyes, trying to keep her focus on literally anything else before she bursts.

Of course, this means she doesn’t see the girl she bumps shoulders with.

Makoto whirls around, eyes filled with vitriol. “Hey, what’s the big idea?” she snaps. “Weren’t you paying attention? Or lemme guess, you saw a beastkin, so you just thought-”

She shakes her head. Saying that doesn’t sit right with her, so she manages to squelch that impulse.

“Whatever,” she grunts. “Aren’t you a little young to be in a place like this? This isn’t a playground, you know.”
