Happy #ColourSaturday! Today I am joining in with a wave of colour across the UK, spread by our wonderful small and unique business friends. I'm going to take a little moment to thank all the lovely customers and my support network, you know who you are! All of those that have brought me to where I am today thank you so much. In return I promise to keep bringing you handmade designs and keepsakes that you can cherish. Not unlike Santas little elves, many of us @notonthehighstreet partners are still busy making, packing and shipping beautiful gifts for you and your family to enjoy this Christmas. This time last year I had a thought wouldn't it be a wonderful surprise if you opened a Christmas cracker and inside you found not a novelty gift but a handmade keepsake you could treasure way beyond the festive season. After the success of my handmade charm cards on @notonthehighstreet I though I would start offering these little handmade charms inside our very own luxury handmade crackers. It turns out it wasn't such a bad idea and I'm not the only one who desires a little something extra special in their cracker. I've had crackers coming out of my ears this week and still more to make today. This family member treated themselves and their loved ones to a selection of sterling silver charms with 22ct gold vermeil. I can't share it as I don't want to spoil the surprise but each one has their initials engraved on the back too. I admit they are not the cheapest crackers you will ever come across. They are not made in a factory and neither is the gift. Instead, each cracker and charm is handmade and assembled in our little workshop and contains a handmade brass, silver or silver with 22ct gold vermeil charm. I can however assure you that they make the most memorable surprise, complete with your own personalised message inside, the warm fuzzy feeling will last right into the new year and beyond. #magicofgifting #notonthehighstreet (at Jewellery Quarter)
