I felt called to do this reading today. I had to figure out how to word my intent for it, I think I got close enough in the end :P

The intent for today's reading the path of coming out of your shell

The shell you have created for yourself is one of distraction through working. You pour yourself into your job, into material wealth and status, convinced that you have to and frankly that it is time better spent than trying to make friends with others. You believe you are meant to be alone, and that friendships are simply too much trouble. Pressure weighs on you from outside sources, possibly family, to be their idea of a 'breadwinner' that can handle it all.

Truthfully, you are lonely, and afraid to reach out in case it fails you. You feel ready to give up on relationships, love, connection; but don't! It's out there for you! You don't have to give up on things so easily just because it didn't work out the first time or because you had a disagreement. You will never please everyone, all the time, so stop trying! Be you! Be firm, and the people that love you for YOU will stay for that!

Coming out of your shell will cause your life to open up. The work you focus so much time into will flourish as you take better care of yourself, and you will become grounded in yourself. Others will see that stability and be drawn to you. You are strong, intelligent, and grounded; you just have to let go of the fixations and fears that cling to your mind.

The shell you've created for yourself is one of imbalance, and lack of trust. Your sense of worth and self love is low, and your sense of security in the people around you is poor. You find yourself disconnected from the idea of relationships, retreating in on yourself.

But it's beyond that, too. You've lost faith in the world, your future, yourself— You may see no point to it all, and you can't understand why the things that happen to you happen.

There is a world beyond what you've experienced. There is a deep heartbreak, loss, and betrayal that continues twisting the metaphorical knife in your own wound. It's time to let go. You lack faith in your future, in the people around you, in the universe— you become so focused on what you don't have and the wrongs that have been done to you that you lose sight of the good, and in focusing on only what you lack you miss the chance to obtain what you want.

Hard times have come to you in the past and likely in the present as well. In the past you experienced neglect, a lack of help in your weakest moments. Experiencing hardships yet again, you've gotten yourself stuck in the same pattern. Often there is not a lack of helping hands in the world, sometimes you just have to ask for it. It is a scary thing to do, and can fill you with shame— but it is necessary. Reach for help, and help will find you.

To break this shell you must let go of the past and embrace change. You do not need to hold onto these ideas that don't serve you, or the person you think you are. Let them go. Become someone new, someone stronger and kinder and more you.

You'll find it becomes easier to stand your ground and put your foot down. This is me, is the energy you can grow into. It won't be immediate, and there will be bumps in the road. But if you stay determined and hold strong through it all, you will find contentment and stability at the end of the path.

What's more, Big Wizard™ is trying to push the idea that Witchcraft is only for harmful magic and potions, or worse, that they are two words that mean the same thing. We cannot let this happen. Please, instead of shopping at the nearest Wizard Tower, instead go to your local forest hut. Support local businesses.
