As you seem to be the leading expert on the subject... Am I allowed to ask for a tip for NA? I have Heracles, Beowulf, Tamacat, Ibaraki, Fran, Nightingale, Raikou and Berserkerlot. Am I capable of constructing a Team from those factors and what CEs would I need if yes? (Love Bersekers and they love me. Short of Raikou, Ibaraki and Fran they are all NP2 and I’m still F2P. It’s been months since I rolled a non-berserker gold)
oh man. out of those the most useful and versatile ones are herc ibaraki nightingale and raiko.
i highly suggest you put your all into raising raiko first of all cause she’s a right proper fuckhouse and extremely easy to build around. she’s at her best when you’ve got some crit buffs in your party (hans, waver, one of many ce’s, etc) but for the rest you just kinda point her at whatever you want dead and mama will take care of it. like all zerkers she’s more fragile than other classes but I don’t get the idea that she drops dead if you brush her slightly, random crits are obviously dangerous but it’s not like you need to tape mashu to her back or she’ll explode. nightingale can heal her back up technically but she’s fragile herself too so someone like nero bride or another heal/buff hybrid might do you better there if you don’t want to live on the edge 100% of the time. as everyone knows I don’t like playing arts at all so bride is my preferred healer just for those two busters in her deck so my attackers can chain more often.
herc is a backline hero, you pretty much just throw him in your last slot and he’ll come out in the last stretch and kill the enemy dead. you’ll want to drag him around as much as possible to raise his bond level because his bond ce gives him several undispellable guts which makes him even better at his job. I don’t like using him as main attacker cause his 4* berserker hp means he dies fucking easy, he really shines at those last 3-4 turns of burst damage and kind of sucks if you want more consistent damage cause he’ll just die before you get to the last wave unless you actively babysit him (or have his bond ce i guess). a fun trick to remember here is that if he’s the last one left and his guts is triggered, the enemy turn ends even if they have moves left which buys you another buster brave chain to finish them off
if you want to go all zerker then nightingale is your best friend, she won’t die easy (relatively) and her buster buff is stupid big. she can also take over for your main dps if they die cause she’s not fucking bitchmade. her np tends to be hard to use unless you throw a QAAAB servant to chain with or a kaleidoscope in the mix so don’t count on getting to use that one often.
ibaraki is one of the sturdiest berserkers and her party attack up makes her one of the most useful teamwise until penthesilea too. her attack is lower to compensate so I suggest you run her alongside a servant with a real class advantage so they can work together instead of leaving all the dpsing to her. 3 busters alongside her party buff means your damage goes up pretty significantly just by having her there. like most zerkers her np is really hard to get going without going out of your way to charge it so don’t worry about the np buff part of her skill cause especially if you’re running all zerkers you won’t even get to that point
the others I’m admittedly less familiar with cause I didn’t get around to raising them myself until recently but looking at them on paper they just can’t compete in terms of power and synergy with those four. especially beowulf and tamacat are kinda infamous for being really clunky and just very not good. fran has the highest np power in the game so she’s a good friend for farming but the stun afterwards makes it hard for her to keep up consistent damage. lancelot can deal some really sick fucking crits if you manage to make him work but not until his strengthening quest which doesn’t exist on na yet, and you already have raiko to deal the sick fucking crits for you anyway
for an all berserker party with this pool id go for raiko/ibaraki/nightingale with support/asterios/herc backline. support suggestions are cu alter, another nightingale, or another raiko. asterios is there mostly to lower your total cost since you’re working with so many golds. for ce’s on raiko you’ll want some buster or crit thing and on the rest just slap 2030s if you have them or otherwise more buster buffs. on nightingale you can consider kaleido or equivalents so you’ve got a heal on standby in case you need it
non-zerker options to enable your berserkers are elizabeth or anyone else with charisma, brynhildr with her targetable crit buffs and heals, the usual support casters, martha with heals and debuffs, mashu or anyone else with a taunt to draw aggro, and anyone who can make a fuckton of crit stars (jack, cursed arm hassan, okita, rider kintoki). in the future you might also want to be on the lookout for ereshkigal, summer ishtar and raiko, merlin (of course), hijikata & penthesilea, and queen of sheba cause they’re all good buster supports with most of them packing decent damage themselves too. generally you’ll want to pair your berserkers with characters who have QAABB decks so they can get both buster and arts chains going but obviously everyone has different preferences so by all means try things out and see what you like
