Lia Fairisles is a first year in Schwanen Schloss. She grew up on an island far from other humans with her scientist parents. Her father, a marine biologist, passed away while at sea during a storm when she was a child. Her mother, a zoologist, raised her alone on the island and she grew up with the animals on the island as her friends.
Lia has met a few humans before, like her parent's research friends and the crewmates of the ship that brings them supplies every month, but she has never interacted with anyone her own age. Her mother, Marcella, contacted her old classmate, Alessandra Prim, to see if Lia could be enrolled in her alma mater, PHA.
When Lia first learned about this, she was very upset, and spent days in the island's jungles. When Headmistress Prim came to pick her up, her animal friends, Ravi, Toko, and Blue, all came with her to keep her company. She is a quick learner and can naturally talk to animals.
