Just remembered that two male fauns in Spyro 2 get "killed" during the cut scenes; one gets crushed by a magma ball, and the other gets pushed into lava. I put "killed" in quotes because that's how the Spyro wiki treats their fates. I'd prefer to think the Spyro games (minus tlos) go by George of the Jungle logic where "nobody dies, they just get really big boo-boos" lmao

Spyro 2: Gateway to Glimmer / Ripto’s Rage - Magma Cone:

Yesterday, I drew a Spyro fancharacter of mine that I'm quite fond of! I hope you guys like him as much as I do.

Meet Sorley!

Sorley is a faun from Magma Cone. He's got an Irish accent, and he's patient, curious, soft-spoken, and kindhearted. The unique thing about him is that unlike the other fauns of Magma Cone, who hate Earthshapers and want to kill them, he sees beauty in the creatures and wants to learn more about them.

In his spare time, Sorley loves to study the Earthshapers, and has even befriended some on multiple occasions! Unfortunately, one of his attempts to tame one resulted in part of his left horn being broken off, but he doesn't blame the creature at all- it was likely afraid and was just trying to defend itself.

He also has a satchel attached to his belt, though I didn't draw it here, lol. And his flower necklace is inspired by the pink flowers on the Earthshapers' backs!

Overall, he is an absolute sweetheart, and I love him. 😭💚💕
