(the wonderful creatures of @newcreatures-update)
Fauns are born as precocial, tiny, fluffy chicks. Within a few hours they are able to walk and run, and within a couple months they are capable of speech. Fauns take only six years to reach adulthood, and lose their baby plumage within the first six months.
reilt gorm / bluestar
fan sa pictuir faoi/faun in the image below: "|_||_||_|-" (pronounced 'loss'/fuaimnithe 'cailte') (F:INTERWEBSCOMIC/B:UNFORSEENCONSEQUENCES)
is e an realt gorm na an pe por fanas a bhi cruthithe mar anmhithe bainne, teagann siad de measc de fanas de line beoir as poranna mar an opolsci, capal srol, gleote ildaite, olusosun, agus an caorin foinse oscailte. de gnath ta siad isaite chun measc le poranna eille chun tabhart buanna a deanigh a leanairudai mar beoiranna maith agus de bhar e seo ta siad an-anamh mar fanas folaíochta, ach nuair ata usaidtear a bainne chun forlíonadh protein agus cailciam a cruthu.
the bluestar is the only faun breed in the world that was originally bred for milk production, they were developed from beoir lines of several breeds such as the opolski, rapunsel satin, pelter mini, olusosun, and the newly developed openhorn. nowadays they're usually crossed with other faun breeds to introduce traits that would make their offspring more ideal beoirs, especially as embryo transfer recipients. this makes purebred bluestars pretty rare, but they're also rarely used to produce cheap high protein and calcium supplements.
cruthigh duine ar an mean socialta 'reddit' iad mar bhi siad fiosrach faoi cean blas a beith ar cais deanta as bainne o fan, nuair a thosigh siad an tionscanamh agus ag deanamh doicimead ar a obair ar an athreddit 'r/fauncoculture' fuair siad coscithe as de bhar burathe slainte. bhi e seo conspóid ullmhoir sa pobail grathor fanas ar line agus don idirlion ar fad, beirt faoi an tionscanamh e fein agus an sli gur deilail na modhnóiri leis. ta an pictuir faoi an pictuir a chuir an usaidathoir suas nuair a criochnigh siad a tionscanamh ar deiradh.
the breed was created by a user on the social media platform "reddit" because they were curious on what cheese made of faun milk would taste like and they began documenting their progress on the subreddit "r/faunoculture" untill they got banned for safety concerns. this entire situation was very controversial in the online faun community and the internet in general, both for the fauns themselves and how the mods reacted to it. in the end the project was finished after the user posed the image below.
ach de bhar an dioma seo fos bhi an-toir ar an por seo, beirt de bhar a treithe mar beoir iontach agus de bhar a cuma agus meoin gleote ata acu, agus ta siad an-cotionta le paisti agus daoine oga mar fanas ag seoanna IUFBA.
but besides the disappointment the breed still became very popular, both for its looks and its traits as an ideal beoir, and they're very popular among children and young people in the underage presenter class IUFBA shows

Based off of the wonderful @newcreatures-update Southside Pigsicker AKA: night hog, little white man
Anklebiter-derived Faun (Unliscenced Breed) Origin: Chicago, IL USA
Short with robust frame, shortened limbs, & large powerful jaws Cold adapted - Wooly coat, thick mane, small ears, stocky build Especially carnivorous due to extensive meat industry waste Private breeders tend to select for brighter colors, feral colonies have duller coats.
Derived from anklebiters smuggled over for their dangerous bite and anti-LEO behaviors, the Southside pigsicker is a small, tough breed built to handle the severe winters of Chicago and the armament of the CPD. Wooly coats keep them warm in the winter, while they can expose their skin in the hot summer to cool off. Tough hooves on strong limbs let them scale the rough urban architecture with ease. While still often kept and trained as guards, feral populations quickly exploded, taking advantage of the copious amounts of polluted waterways in the city. Their diet is high in protein and fats.
