Set Up
Shuffle the fish cards and lay them out on a flat tabletop surface.
You must stand on opposite ends of the table, facing your opponent.
Don’t forget to take your first fishing tool card (the circle)
You both get one each
How To Play
This card game consists of three rounds. In each round you get the chance to throw your fishing tool 10 times (e.g. you throw and then your opponent throws until you both have had 10 attempts). You must try to accurately throw your fishing tool onto the magnet on the fish card. If you land on a fish card you’ll need to write the amount of points you have scored, which is written on the back of the card. Put the card aside so that it can not be used again during this round. At the end of each round you must add your points and compare it with your opponents points. If you have the highest score, you are able to upgrade your fishing tool. At the end of Round One you are only allowed to upgrade your fishing tool to the one with the four small magnets. This tool is worth 12 points. Keep in mind, if you’ve tied with your opponent you are given the chance to throw fishing tool 3 more times. If you both have score 12+ points, the person with the highest score is able to take it. The same applies for the upgrade at the end of Round Two. This fishing tool is worth 22 points. At the end of each round, lay the cards back on the table and repeat steps. However for round 2 you are only allowed 8 throws and 6 throws in round 3. You do not need to start your points from 0 in each round, you keep adding onto your previous points.

Final Design of the Card - Used a glue gun to glue the magnets onto the wood. - I went over the heading with a black brush-tip pen so that it could stand out against the burn marks from the laser cutter. - I decided not to paint the front of the cards because people have told me that it looks more natural and it goes with the theme of the game. - The points are painted on the back of the cards. It ranges from 1 point to 6 points
Fishing Tool Cards - I originally planned to make two of each fishing tool cards. But I wanted to make it more competitive by only producing one of each. - This is how these cards are used in the game: At the end of each round, both players must add their points. The player who scored the highest amount is able to upgrade their fishing tool. Each fishing tool has a certain amount of points in order to be claimed (first upgrade is worth 12 points). However, if both players scored 12 points at the end of round 1, the player with the highest points is able to claim it.
All players do start of with this (image below) in round one. This is a metal circle which is used to aim and connect onto the magnets.
