Thanks to everyone who came by in support of the signing at Four Color Fantasies this past Saturday. The turnout was way more than I expected and the signing stretched to over ten hours without a break. One family drove all the way from Texas to Virginia (!). I had a terrific time even though my old man back and hand still aren't feeling all that great. I signed my first skull (!). Thanks to everyone who picked up a copy of the Beasts of Burden Omnibus, and everyone who said they'd already preorderd the Nerd Inferno Omnibus. All appreciated. And thanks to Erik and company at Four Color Fantasies in Winchester, VA, a swell shop. We're talking about doing it again before too long.

Jim Henry III's constructed languages site

We lost a long time member of the conlang community today. Jim Henry's primary work was his longtime personal language gyâ-zym-byn (frequently referred to as gzb), in which he was completely fluent. He'd journal in it daily, which I found astonishing. I used gzb in a reverse relay, where you use someone else's conlang to translate a text, and then send it to the conlanger who created the language. I spent time with him at a number of conlang events over the years, and was saddened to hear of his passing. If you have a spare moment today, take a look at gyâ-zym-byn. It was a large, impressive work. Jim will be missed. <3

Days Gone By is a yearbook-themed LTAN zine featuring all our favorite players and teams; it's a huge art and writing collaboration done entirely by fans featuring all our favorite players, teams, and broadcast talent!
