☆:**:. He’s actually glad he’s wealthy for once. The ability to travel without having to worry about repercussions or jam-packed airports is something he actually cares and uses to his advantage only trips like this - a private jet vacation to Seoul to meet up with a friend he hadn’t thought he’d be able to make considering... well, considering who he simply is. But after chance encounter and a few stumbles along the way, they somehow had gotten close. For the first time in a long time, he feels comfortable. And that’s why he doesn’t mind making the effort to see DOE. That and he’s off to see his friend’s show - an event he’s incredibly excited for. He’s never heard of Half-Tone but since his music taste consists of mostly bands, it seems up his alley.

☆:**:. It takes a while but he’s soon landing and driving off to the company - Magnet, if he’s recalling correctly. He pulls up to the entertainment building, looking around a bit curiously but he doesn’t feel at all awkward by anything. Taking out phone, he dials the number his friend had provided, hoping they’re not too busy to answer. “Yo, DOE,” he says. “I’m outside of your company. Don’t really know where to go so if you could come out and help me that would be great. Oh also, surprise! Yeah I’m here so hurry your ass up.”

     -- eyebrows knit together as a pout forms against thick lips, worried eyes looking at the deep cut through round glasses. “it’s supposed to be my day off. why are you hurting yourself?” he whines, taking hold of the other’s arm before heaving a sigh and grabbing the nearest thing he could -- one of his new shirts -- to put pressure against the wound. “what happened?”

☆:**:. Hazy summer air paired with heat waves churning in tight space of studio causes young man’s head to swim. No matter how many water bottles he downs, it doesn’t seem enough to satiate thirst. And the longer he stays inside the stuffy space, the hungrier he seems to get until he has to clamp his hand over his stomach in hopes that it stops rumbling so loudly like a starved beast ravenous and aching for food. He looks over at CYPRUS working on a song, and slowly makes his way over, wiggling onto their lap. Arms wrap around their neck, face nuzzling into the crook of his shoulder. “Please feed me,” he whines. “This weather sucks and I don’t want to work. Please feed me.” He playfully nips their skin. “Citruuuuussss.”

☆:**:. The building looms overhead, intimidating in its structure. It’s surreal that he had even made it this far to Korea. And now that he’s here… Why had he thought of this as a good idea? He hadn’t even thought of a plan to get inside.

☆:**:. Scanning the area, he looks around and spots someone making their way towards the door. “Hey,” he calls out, hoping the bare minimum of Korean he had learned would be enough. “Can you help me? I need to get inside but I don’t really know the building? Do you work here?” God, he sounds awful but at least he had managed it.

The gala had been a little bit more crowded than usual but he hadn’t thought of it as a major problem. Seeing his friend struggle, however, gives him pause, waiting until they finally reached him. “I did not forget about you!” he exclaims, laughing a little. “I just kind of forgot how tiny you were. I’m sorry, I didn’t think you’d get so lost easily. I told you to hold on to the ends of my shirt or even my sleeve. But I’ll make it up to you because I’m one of your greatest friends. Are you prepared to go now?”

How are you the oldest but the smallest?” he teases, poking their side. He straightens. “I’m kidding. But how are we supposed to talk when you’re all the way down there? Should I pick you up instead?”

☆:**:. It takes a moment for him to fully comprehend the question. And another for him to learn how to blink again. What kind of interview... He should have seen it coming but in the list of questions he had been given, he hadn’t been fully prepared. There’s a tick as he contemplates how to answer. He could just be honest but in an industry like this and with plans for Gold Coast still in the preparation stage, he doesn’t know if he can really risk it. It doesn’t help that they had dated when they were younger.

☆:**:. He stays quiet before laughing and shaking his head like he had been just told the greatest joke. “Of course I do!” he chirps. “Have you seen how cute they are? Everyone would have a crush on them! If you don’t then I would think you’re just weird. Anyways, next question.”
