So I'm that person annoyed with SaB books from the last ask, and I guess you're right, we must let the bitterness go. It sucks that the idea for such an interesting setting came out underdeveloped, but I'll live. On the flipnote I'm just thinking about what happens when another high fantasy gets popular in USA: people are starting to name babies after it. Like imagine someone so ignorant they'd name their baby girl Ana Kuya only to find out later their name is a literal slur, that's peak comedy.
Welcome back! Yeah, that sucks so much, there is so much to discover in the setting but this series was only interested in the same boring trope filled heap set to a Russian backdrop... And vfbsjkbkdsab that’s beautiful! Idk how LB managed to mess up that badly, but this is why native speakers should check books influenced by non-English lands before publishing
