Let’s give a shout out to @magnusdecus! Alenya is an utter sweetheart with such a beautiful way with words. Her characterization is never anything short of spot on no matter which muse she decides to take up. It’s really great to see her on the dash and in the RPC as a whole.

"I trust I shall see you at next week's session, Hinamori." the calm timbre of his voice resonates , gaze still fixed upon the works layed out from this week's class, althoough there is no mistaking that his words are meant for her, "You're participation has certainly been appreciated in this small group"

Her hands were busied with stowing the supplies used, yet her mind wandered in the quietude of the moment. There was a serenity in the space that invoked memories in her, of days spent in lessons of another sort - of the fusion of art and flowers, and of life - but most particularly of the one who had become more than just an instructor or superior. A mentor. An advisor. The one who saved her, in more ways than one. Captain Retsu Unohana.

The reverie which accompanied the chore was broken by poised intonation, to deliver what she assumed to be a conventional exchange. To express, or impress that the class in which he so graciously brought his expertise to had come to a close. Yet, she found herself taken aback by the words that were uttered afterward. Or more so by the undeniable sincerity in them.

“Of course you will, Captain. I really enjoy it…” With a soft smile and a slight bow she continued, “…and I appreciate you for continuing to hold them.”
