just wanted to say that i love ya all. you are such beautiful people. if you wanna talk to me outside of this, message me and ill send you my email. ill try to get back to ya as soooon as possible and i just love you sososo much and hope you’re doing wonderfully. if you need to rant about anything at all please dont hesitate to do so. you rock and you are SO loved!!!

I can remember sitting in my room as a 14 year old, sometime past 12 in the morning, smiling and giggling like a child on Christmas eve after listening to Dave Grohl’s SXSW keynote speech and typing out a six paged letter to him detailing how much he inspired me. I don’t think I had had as much love in my heart, music in my brain, and tears in my eyes until I typed out that letter. I hadn’t felt that inspired to make music and make art and make other people inspired in my whole life. 

Listening to this ep and reading Dave’s post on the ep fills me with the exact same feeling I felt at 12 am as a tiny Foo fan a few years ago and I don’t think I will ever be able to repay this band for that. I hope one day I can. But for now, all I can do is thank the universe for letting them do what they do. I hope they never stop.
