My current relationship with warriors is so conflicted.
On one hand I desperately want the series to end—it's been going on forever, the authors are afraid to give any of the bg characters any personality and nobody is dying anymore. The warrior cats are not warrying.
On the other hand, we are FINALLY getting official warriors merch after 50 million dog years. The new team seems to like where the series is headed and maybe that's a good sign. Squirrelstar is FINALLY real and Ivypool is her deputy and i NEED to see Ivystar happening + i am curious about the new warriors show Tencent is producing...
I want this series to keep going for a long time, as long as there’s melodrama, I’m invested lol. But I definitely want to see more death and tbf we are finally starting to flesh out the background cast more, the main issue is that we have so many cats just there that we don’t know because they were neglected, so now catchup is going to be hard.
Any new readers are reading though, I would have been delighted if this level of merch and official adaptations were available when I was a kid. I’m delighted now but still lol, years in the making to get to this point.
