Sho groaned a vague answer, trailing his fingertips over Kei’s ribs. ‟If you ever kiss me on a job,” Kei began, and Sho lifted his head, surprised, ‟while people are shooting at us, or might start shooting at us again, I swear, I will not fuck you again for a week at least.” Sho pushed sharply upright, making a strangled sound of protest.

Upright: The world turns - and this time it is taking something valuable and important from you, leaving you with only memories and shadows of what you one had. Some things, once ruined, can never be restored.

Rough Comfort

He wanted them even closer, blotting out all else - as though they could - and he grabbed for them thoughtlessly, catching Ginroumaru’s hip in a tight hold, squeezing Kikuoumaru’s nape firmly, fingers tangling in his hair. Ginroumaru echoed his brother’s whine, nuzzling Noritsune’s shoulder, and he slowly calmed enough to open his eyes, feeling the steady, warm, strong reality of the pair of them, so close at his sides, expansively taking up all the space around him. He shivered. He didn’t want more space, he wanted. . .
