Protests at the United Nations
(Paul Schutzer. 1960)
INFP Confession #1037
There are countless nights spent wide-eyed with anguish, listening to the monotonous tick of the clock, pondering what could have gone wrong. Given his reputation as a heartless bastard, you still went ahead and gave him a chance, tried to see him as the shunned, lonely creature that he is, conjuring up foolish scenarios and fantasies in your head. Inevitably, he wrenches your heart out of your chest and slashes it to pieces. You smile bitterly and tell yourself you're better than him, but it is ultimately you who drifts on spectre-like, filled with desolation and regret. Dear fellow INTPs, why must it be our fate to take pity, to heal, and ultimately, to be the hand that is bitten?
