Omg so glad your cat is back!!

Me too!!!!!!!! I'm sorry for the very late response, I just saw the notification for this today!

When we took Maggie to the vet because she was limping, the x ray came back that she has a piece of bone stuck in between her leg joints. We got some pain meds to help with the inflammation, and while she's still limping, she's not in pain anymore (now that it's been a month since we got her back). The vet said that usually cats aren't too bothered by those kinds of injuries, which definitely seems to be the case here. My boyfriend and I were so relieved to have her back

Four weeks ago today, we lost our sweet girl to cancer. We knew we had it good, but the last four weeks have shown just how lucky we were to be her people. In Session: Magzilla at Converse Rubber Tracks Brasil

Brazil’s Magzilla are as fresh as it gets - the young group has yet to record any material, but a look inside their rehearsal sessions show the band is brewing up an potent mixture of twisted doom metal and stoner rock. And their silence is about to end: Magzilla got the chance to record their music for the first time at the Converse Rubber Tracks studio in São Paulo. After the session, we spoke to them about getting the band off the ground and their plans for the future. 

How long have you been playing together?

Jonas (bass): Well...pretty much 2 and a half years.

Pedro (guitar): Really? That much….must be less.

Jonas: If we count our very first rehearsal session...

Pedro: Oh c'mon. That one doesn't count. Guilherme joined the band around 2 years ago. That's where it started for real.

Jonas: Fine! Two years then.

Did you have any previous experience?

Guilherme (vocals/guitar): Mostly rehearsals... Pedro and I are friends from school. Nothing really serious though.

Has Magzilla released anything yet?

Pedro: No! This is our very first time recording something for real.

That's interesting. Have you performed a live show before?

Jonas: Actually, no. We just play in the studio as a hobby. We catch up every Thursday for our session, but we’ve never left the studio to play live anywhere. This is our first time out there!

What did you record today? How are you planning on releasing it?

Pedro: We did just one track.  It's a 10 minutes long one, though. Well... there's no big plan about it yet. Maybe we'll compile it with another song to make an EP. Our songs are quite long, so it would work that way, but first we want to hear and feel it. That would give us a better sense of what to do.

Guilherme: Beside that ,we want to spread the word. Let our friends and close contacts listen to it and see what happens. Who knows?

How did you like your session here at Rubber Tracks?

Jonas: We’re very impressed with it. The place, gear, the session, everything.

Guilherme: We weren’t expecting this to happen in our life right now. It looked unreal for us, especially because we are a small band without much experience. It's great to have this chance.

How was your very first time recording? Did it fulfill your expectations?

Guilherme: Absolutely yes. It was interesting, since we rehearse a lot we have a good bond between us.  I was positively surprised because, even though we are in a professional level studio, it just depended on us. We just had to come here and do our best. This bond we have helped a lot to do a good job.

What's next for Magzilla? Are you into it for real?

Leandro (drums): Yes, for sure. This year definitely we want to go out and play. We want to book some shows.

Guilherme: Now that we have something to present it will be easier.

Pedro: For next year we have three things in mind: compose more, record what we have now and perform live!
