Maha and her family previously had a verified GFM to pay for basic necessities like food, medical care, and some form of shelter. Horrifically, the person running their former GFM has stolen from them and hijacked their campaign.

Help a single mother of two small children in north Gaza

Single mother Maha and her two children Joan (7) and Khalil (5) are completely alone in north Gaza. They are still in besieged Beit Lahiya, and need funds for Joan's medication, to buy a bag of flour that is not soiled by insects and/or mold, and treat their malnutrition-borne illnesses and injuries sustained under IOF assault. Anything you can give, no matter how small it seems, will help this young family survive genocide.

Single mother with 2 injured children trapped under IOF fire in north Gaza—evacuation needed NOW!!

Maha and the children were not able to evacuate before the IOF surrounded their area. They are under fire NOW, and the IOF is killing people who flee their homes on foot.

Little Khalil was injured after the lOF rigged a nearby house to explode. Joan is still struggling with severe gastritis, and can barely move. They need funds for transportation right now, which is $500 USD. (Once they are out of the attack zone, they will need funds for lodging (a tent or rental space), which we will raise next. For now, we are focusing on the transportation cost.)

6-year-old Joan Al-Habil is has been repeatedly hospitalized due to severe gastrointestinal problems and overwhelming fatigue. This poor girl has been to multiple facilities and seen multiple doctors, undergone extensive testing (as extensive as is possible in Gaza's collapsed medical system), even having to endure an unsedated endoscopy.

She has now been diagnosed with severe gastritis due to starvation and hazardous living conditions. Remember, she and her family are living on the streets, which are cold and wet due to winter rain. Homelessness, stress, exposure to the elements, her previous injury when the lOF firebombed her tent, and malnutrition all conspire to sap little Joan of her strength.

Her condition is so serious that she even had to undergo surgery. Gastritis very rarely requires surgery to treat, so this is an indication of how dire her condition is. The surgery was successful to a degree, but she is going to need ongoing treatment to manage her symptoms.

The treatments are administered weekly and cost $500 USD (just under €500 EUR). Her family has no income and cannot afford this. If Joan goes more than a few days without treatment, her symptoms worsen rapidly, and she sometimes has to be hospitalized. It is vital that we help her family procure her treatments so that her condition does not worsen!

EXTREME EMERGENCY! Medical fees preventing emergency hysterectomy!!!

Maha @mahafamily1 needs to have an emergency hysterectomy! She recently had a miscarriage, and if she does not have a hysterectomy NOW, she will die!!

The doctor told her EVERY MINUTE OF DELAY DECREASES HER CHANCE OF SURVIVAL!!! Minute-by-minute, we are losing Maha!!!

Because her recent emergency operation had to be paid on credit, and is not yet paid, Maha now needs to pay the full cost of the hysterectomy up-front before the procedure will be done!!! She urgently URGENTLY requires $2000 USD in order to survive!!!
