Stephanie has survived many thingsbut she wasn't invincible. Her bonesstill broke. Her lungs still needed oxygen to survive. 

She was dying. 

She took the explosion and the fall. Her ribs shattering and pierced herlungs. Blood pooled underneath her from the wounds that had shards ofmetal plunged into them. 

Her head was spinning and she washaving trouble making sense of anything. She was losing blood far too quickly, andshe knew no one was going to find her before her body went into shock.

If anyone found her at all.

However, she was wrong. Out of her peripheral vision she noticed an agentrunning towards her. For a moment shewondered if she was a true SHIELD agentor if she was a HYDRA impostor ready tofinish her job.

Although the concerned look on her facesaid that it was the former. 

                                  "I see a n g e l s." 

She sputtered, a small smile lighting herpale features. Blood dribbled out of hermouth, but she didn't really care. She wastoo light headed to think about the pain orthe state she was in. 

At least she wasn't alone.
