When you're preparing to hike the Appalachian Trail, you hear a lot about the steepness of New Hampshire, the mud of Vermont, and the rocks of Pennsylvania. What they don't tell you is that, in every aspect, #Maine wins the superlatives.⠀ ⠀ This felting features a rocky summit in Maine's #Mahoosucs, and I've blended dozens of greys for its creation. I'm excited to begin adding the crevasses and lichens and other details of the peak.
