Now that the starters are done, the rest of the Pokedex will be reviewed by species, with the acception of ones who have a close connection with each other, such as Legendary trios or certain ones I'll get to later. That being out of the way, here's the very first wild Fakemon you can run into, possibly the first wild Pokemon at all! The Tahook is a snowy region, with most areas coated in the stuff, but despite this, Glachild's line is among the few ice types. Let's start off with Glachild itself, a pure Ice type Fakemon that is exactly what it says it is. An ice themed child. It's a vaguely humanoid first evolution that becomes significantly more humanoid as it evolved. Seem familiar? The second stage, Maidawn, continues the trend, getting better defined limbs, starts of a dress, more hair, and cute overly long sleeves. It's got a clear resemblance to both the previous evolution and the next evolution. Seeing the similarities here? Finally is Aurostice. Just to be clear, I'm not usually a big fan of these humanoid Pokemon. Gardevoir and Gallade are cool enough, just not really my style. However, I really like Aurostice. Besides my starter, it's the only Pokemon I kept throughout my play of Pokemon Vega, and still have it in my team as I hunt the post game Fakemon. It's a beautiful design, and is probably the most useful Ice type Pokemon I've ever used, Fakemon or not. It's a special attacker, but it learns a pretty decent type spread, with a good speed stat to make use of it. I can't white put my finger on what it is that appeals to me here, but Aurostice is excellent. A good solid three stage Fakemon, with a good connection between it's evolutions, if a little predictable in how it turns out. All in all the Glachild line gets a four ridiculously buff Pikachu out of five. ..except not quite. There's a glaring flaw with Aurostice that I can't help but notice, despite the fact that I like it so much. It looks like a literal fusion of Gardevoir and Froslass. To their credit, it's a good fusion, mixing the two seemlessly, but it's still clearly a fusion. This leaves me in a tough place, because I feel like it loses points for being a fusion, but it's still a nicely done fusion, and my own liking for it stands wether it's a fusion or not. There is also the possibility that it wasn't intentional, and I want to give the creators the benefit of the doubt. Because of all these, my original score stands, but as a Pokemon fusion it would get a clear five, but for originality? It gets a low score of two.
