Hear me out: Jet/Zuko/Mai

So I thought about maybe venturing into this pairing... JetKo is already not anywhere near being a main pairing (less than 2% of ATLA fics 🥲)

But Jet/Zuko/Mai? There's 7 works in total on Ao3. The newest one is more than 2 years old... Am I being idiot here? Possibly so.

I would go for Jet/Zuko as the main pair and Mai coming in and joining them for reasons (such as little cute fire nation baby heirs don't just pop out of nothing).

This would by far be the most self indulgent thing ever as I expect basicly no readers for this combination. But the thought of Mai and Jet teaming up on Zuko is too good to pass up on. He would be so screwed, metaphorically and literally. Tell me that wouldn't be peak bisexual disaster energy.

Fic Idea: Mai makes a deal - Mai/Jet/Zuko

Zuko looked at Mai, panicked and tried to telepathically communicate ‘abort mission, don’t do it, don’t do it!’ which of course had never worked on Mai, and today was no different.

“Do you mind if I sleep with Zuko?” Mai asked bluntly.

For the first time Zuko saw what happened when Jet was caught completely wrong footed and off guard. He would have laughed if he wasn’t in a state of shock himself.

“What!?”

“He said you probably wouldn’t mind if I married him, but sex might be crossing a line.” She said and Zuko saw the tiniest smirk on her face. Oh she was evil.
