So as for how we look as hybrids. I imagine us like these below (i tried to reverse image search to credit the originals cus these were on Pinterest but no luck AUGH 💔). Where we mostly look human but we have the shark tail and ears mhm mhm.
As a great white, he simply has some gray and white going on. I have the spotted/striped pattern of a whale shark of course, and I am imagining I am more of the dark blue variety than the brownish gray variety.
Given the nature of Boothill's character/background this hybrid au is ALSO a western AU lol.
But like I imagine he is a rancher/homesteader/farmer y'know? Exceedingly rare for water type hybrids to be in such dry areas, yet there he is in his little town living his best life. He's part of this organization of farmers n such with a bunch of hybrids local to this area.
One night he's hanging with some close friends from that association talking by the fire about lady biz. 2 of them are married (a bull hybrid married to a cow hybrid and a wolf hybrid married to a sheep hybrid). Then Boothill and 2 others (a scorpion dude and a llama/alpaca kinda guy) are single.
The question is eventually asked to Boothill about what kinda lady he's lookin' for. He kinda eludes to having tried things out with land types of hybrids and how it never really worked out. So he's def in the market for a water type, though a sea type would be ideal. That aside, he has a thing for a girl with a lil chub hehe <333333.
This talk is something that is originally thought to have stayed between the men of course, but the wives of the two married ones get a little curious about the outting and end up getting the sauce on the tastes of the men that were there. They hatch a bit of a devious plan muehehehe.
See there's a meeting coming up where members of fhe association get all dressed up and discuss progress and direction for future plans. It's a meeting but also a dance or gala??? Or sorts? Haha
There are some ladies the llama/alpaca hybrid and scorpion hybrid friend have crushes on/are courting n such that will already be there. But the two wives end up inviting a friend who just so happens to fit Boothill's alleged description of the perfect woman HEHE.
It's a friend of theirs from a different branch of the same organization. Boothill's town branch is kinda focused on typical crop like corn, wheat, rice, etc. The ladies' friend is part of the tropical branch off the coast, dealing with stuff like bananas, mangoes, coffee, vanilla, etc.
That friend being moi ofc <33333.
His friends catch my entrance before he does, chuckling giving him a heads up. And when Boothill first catches sight of me? His words?

He's immediately taken with me hehe.
I pull up in this ensemble (tho i'm way more curvy obvi) with some silver heeled sandals and pretty pearl earrings ✨️. Also me hair is lookin like this.
I don't notice him til a little while later and immediately I am sideyeing my two friends (the wives) who invited me.
They're just grinning at me and I'm like shaking my head once I realize. Because I hate it here (not actually lmao) and they're all 'oohhh wHaT'S wRoNg?'

Also lil side note, being that whale sharks are quite a bit larger than great whites i do imagine my tail to be bigger and longer than his hehe

In the beginning stages, it is nice to cuddle up to him and rest my head on his chest :3. He wraps his arm around me, rubbing circles into me with his thumb. We murmur sweet nothings to each other.
Throughout the night as I toss and turn, I will at times go back to cuddling him. That or like pressing my butt and back against his side lmao. Sometimes he will sleepily rest his arm atop me when I'm like that and I love it sm <3333.
