15. How would they react to getting trapped in a closet/tight place with their LI?

Cyn would be very flustered which I'm sure Ortega would take advantage of 😏

Depends a little on timing for Vesper. sidestep days or after Vesper would try to keep as much distance as possible between themselves and ortega. if it's after the dinner at his apartment vesper would probably end up doing something stupid like kissing him, because he's still too close and they can smell his cologne and he has that look in his eyes, and they can't let him think they're afraid of him.

17. How would they react to their LI getting seriously injured?

both cyn and vesper are good at keeping their heads under pressure. They've both seen ortega pretty fucked up, have worried they were dead or dying. and in those moments they are able to deal with the situation. to focus on getting them to safety to doing what needs to be done.

Cyn has a hard time with it afterwards. when the adrenaline fades, and they're just waiting for news. ortega rushed off to the hospital and she's just a vigilante so who is going to bother to tell her anything? She hadn't been able to "finish" the fight outside the gala, and instead walked away from an injured ortega. she dreads the thought of fighting her again.

Vesper thought they wanted to hurt ortega. hurt him bad and they succeeded, but it didn't feel they way they thought it would. it didn't feel like a victory. as much as they try to justify it, to say he deserves it, there is a part of them that is horrified seeing him like that.

19. How would they react to their SO getting hit on in front of them?

cyn hates it, but she won't say anything. what right does she have to be offended when it's not like she can give ortega a real relationship in the first place? maybe ortega will finally come to her senses and stop whatever this is between them because god knows cynthia isn't capable of doing it.

Vesper would fuck with that person's mind. probably wouldn't even let them get close enough to ortega to try and hit on him. send them on their way. remind them of their most embarrassing moments.

22. What would their ideal date be like?

cyn is happy enough with dinner at ortega's apartment. the familiarity of it is comforting. just spending time together away from prying eyes, feeling like she can let some of her shields down a little bit. not having to share ortega with the rest of the world

Vesper's ideal would probably getting Ortega to go along with blowing up some government buildings and making a few people's lives a living hell.

1. How would they have their LI's number saved in their phone before and after they get together?

so back in the sidestep days it started out very formal as professional as Marshal Charge (that is once cyn actually bothers to get a phone) before changing to Ortega and finally ending up as Jules

in rebirth it's Ortega but then cyn changes it to idiot (and honestly she isn't sure if the insult is aimed more at ortega or herself. because she is an idiot for answering an idiot for responding) if the regene reveal goes okay then cyn will add a little heart after idiot.

5. What would their reaction be to being in a 'there's only one bed' kind of situation with their LI?

I am slowly picking away at a fic like this! At first cyn would say she'd just sleep on the floor. After Julia insists and convinces her to get on the bed, cyn would have a very difficult time falling asleep. if she eventually wakes up to ortega snuggled up against her she would pretend to be asleep as long as possible. knowing she should move, should get up and put the distance between them, but unwilling to lose the closeness.

13. What are their favourite spots to kiss and be kissed on?

she'd never admit it but, she really enjoys receiving forehead/temple/eyelid kisses. in the future, once her and julia are on more honest and open footing, kisses to her inner wrist will make her very emotional. She really enjoys kissing on the lips and neck.

38. If someone asked them for advice on how to get with their LI because they noticed they were close, what would they do?

oh goodness. let's see back in the sidestep days they'd probably say something like you have a pulse that should be good enough or trying bringing a mirror since he's so in love with himself.

woe to anyone who asks something like that after heartbreak. Even when it's still just a secret crush, Vesper is very possessive over ortega, they would probably mess with the mind of the person and make them forget all out thinking ortega is attractive, or get them to act in a way that vesper knows will irritate and make ortega's day worse.

39. How would they react to being in a fake-out-make-out kind of situation with their LI?

Absolute panic on vesper's part, before a softening and maybe getting a bit too lost in the moment. when it breaks and the danger has cleared, Ortega will get punched. Ortega will get punched hard, maybe a knee to the groin. in no way shape or form can they let ortega know they liked it. but they will be unable to stop thinking about it afterwards. they'd be totally haunted by it afterwards, find themself distracted when alone with ortega, thoughts spiralling out.

When Cyn first sees Julia its like a bright flash, a feeling of warmth, of safety, of home that is pretty quickly drowned by feelings of guilt and insecurity.

With Vesper its just so much conflict. Depending on the day it would be a desire to punch him in the face or kiss him. Probably both. Vesper at war with themself and their feelings. The anger they carry towards him fighting against their memories against the last small soft parts still hiding deep inside.

35. What words of advice/warning would you give them?

Cyn: You'll never know if you don't try.

Vesper: You have every right to be angry, but who actually wins if you let it consume you?

Cyn- acts of service/quality time

10. How do they show love without any words?

Cyn shows love by looking out for others, watching their back. trying to anticipate their needs and take care of them for them. also just willingly sharing space. not really having to do anything but just being happy to be around others. to feel connected to them however briefly.

Vesper will rarely do anything they don't want to do (or at least things that part of them wants to do, they are very conflicted). they may grumble and complain and act like they were forced into it, but if they really didn't want to be there they wouldn't. Teasing, joking, giving someone a hard time. they don't really waste energy or words on people they don't care for. so if they are willing to hangout with someone it means they care (probably more than they want to)

all my travelers are on multiple romance routes so I'll keep it more of a general vibe

Adonia would just absolutely light up inside. probably just a flood of endearments and soft thoughts

Narni's thoughts would probably be drawn more to appreciating their LIs more physical attributes. basically just checking them and probably not even trying to hide it

Daen would be checking to make sure they were smiling/happy. If not their thoughts would go straight to how to change that.

40. Give a random fun fact about them!

Adonia is more of a night owl than a morning bird. She loves to sleep in and will happily stay up half the night if something has caught her interest.

Narni actually reads a lot of poetry.

Back in the palace Daen would often play harmless pranks on really anyone he could manage it with. They were a regular menace, but many pranks were foiled by their own inability to control their laughter.

3. How would they react to their LI falling asleep with their head on their shoulder?

Riley would be beyond shocked and more than a little afraid to move. Probably at first expects that it's Morgan trying to be sneaky, maybe to start kissing her neck or otherwise trying to seduce her

Addie would feel very warm and soft about it. She would do what she could to keep them comfortable and try to just bask in the moment. maybe place a few small kisses to the top of their head.

14. If they were a RO for an IF, how would you describe their route?

Both Riley and Addie are a bit on the shy side and easily flustered by flirting.

Riley would show her interest by picking up small gifts or things she knows the other person needs. Coffee in the morning, or a little nicknack she saw them eying.

Addie's route would be super sweet. She's so ready and willing to love and be loved. Has many ideas about romance, but very little experience.

22. What would their ideal date be like?

Riley would be pretty happy with a coffee shop date. Just a chance to chat, maybe go on a walk together, check out a bookstore.

Dancing has to included for Addie. Dancing and music and hopefully glittering lights. She would love for the whole nine yards. flowers and a horse drawn carriage. think of a romantic cliche and Addie wants it.

24. How long does it take them to be vulnerable with their LI?

There's different levels of vulnerable with Emma. She can appear very open at first. She doesn't do a very good job of hiding her attraction to Nat, and she is unable to hide how scared she is by the revelation of the supernatural. Emma is very good at telling people what she thinks they want to hear. She has a hard time saying no. So I think that would be a lot more vulnerable for her. For her to create or enforce a boundary with Nat and hope that she won't get rejected for doing so.

29. If their LI was a mind reader for a day, what would be the first thing they hear MC think when they see them?

"She's so wonderful. What does she see in me?"
