Okay look one of my main complaints about this book (though I like a lot of it) is the literal insistence that Bryce is special. Like dude we know this! There is no need to tell us every few pages that she has some power she is not using or she’s a princess. Over and over again, the main character syndrome reeks across every page. We get it. She’s not like other girls. She doesn’t want power. She wants to be normal. But she’s not!
Ugh. Smh.
