oooo YAY my first hxh request!! I don’t mind doing gon and killua but I’m gonna imagine that they are a little older (mb like 16+) and absolutely no NSFW since they are underage (so please don’t ask for anything nsfw for Gon and Killua even if we “age them up”)
Leorio
On a superficial level, Leorio is kind of annoying in relationships. He’s loud, sometimes touchy, and he loves to flaunt the relationship.
He would participate in everything cliché when it came to romance—a dozen red roses and chocolates in a heart-shaped box.
However, behind closed doors, he’s actually very attentive to his partner’s needs and wants. He’d write the best little notes that he sticks into flower bouquets.
While he likes PDA especially things like hand holding, he won’t do it if his partner tells him it makes them uncomfortable. He’s respects his lover’s space and wants them to always feel comfortable around him.
He makes dad jokes on dates when he feels like there’s too much silence. These jokes are hit or miss and no in between.
He likes embarrassing you for fun and would always make you laugh.
Leorio is super upfront about how he’s feeling and might be thick-headed when it comes to how you feel about certain things. However, he does do his best and comes around eventually.
Kurapika (asdfghjkl my bb 💕)
Kurapika is honestly not the best at relationships. He’s always unavailable and working on something. He would need someone that understands what he’s going through, but would also forget that his partner has needs too.
He would never be late to a date, but would take a lot of reign checks.
Kurapika would also keep a lot to himself which can get pretty frustrating. He seems like the type to bottle it up until it spilled over resulting in some fights.
However, Kurapika would be a great listener when it comes to his partner. He’d also have all the right things to say and would never invalidate their feelings or experiences.
Kurapika shows affection in little ways. He’d buy things that remind him of you and leave it at your bedside for you to wake up to.
He likes unconsciously playing with your fingers when you’re sitting together. Or even playing with hair.
Kurapika doesn’t like really explicit PDA like hand holding or hugging, but I feel like he might have his hand somewhere on his lover at all times. For example, if you’re standing with him, he’d place his hand on the small of your back and gently rub circles with his thumb. Or he’d have his hand on your thigh under the table or while he drives! This might be a protective/possessive thing.
Kurapika is probably possessive of his partner despite being negligent of them at times. He doesn’t want to lose the people he’s close to and would take this very seriously.
Gon
We already know Gon knows how to make people happy (via his “relationship” with Palm).
He would take his lover on the best adventures and would not be afraid to take charge.
A relationship with Gon is never boring and perhaps sometimes too active even.
I do get the feeling that Gon wouldn’t really pick up on emotional cues though. If you’re not in the mood, he might not really understand why.
He’s a bit of a perfectionist and would take it really personally if you didn’t like something he planned, but it’s relatively easy to get him out of these moods. He just wants to be the best boyfriend he can be.
I don’t think Gon would be the best communicator, but he’d acknowledge everything you’re feeling and would definitely try his best.
Killua
Killua probably wasn’t looking for a relationship when he got himself into one. He’s a novice and would be kind of awkward at first because he’s unsure of himself. Of course he’d try to play it off cool though.
I think Killua would take a lot of time getting to really know you and would keep a mental record of everything you like and dislike. He definitely remembers even the smallest things. For example, if you saw something cute at a shop but couldn’t buy it, he’d remember that and get it for you later.
Like Gon, I think he’d take you on some fun adventures (of course, Gon gave him the idea though).
Killua enjoys spending one-on-one time with you, but sometimes would make Gon thirdwheel (or who thirdwheel with Gon...)
Killua teases you A LOT and pulls silly pranks on you.
At first he would be really embarrassed to talk about his feelings or be vulnerable with you. However, after a while I think he’d be very honest with you.
