Change
2017, one of the worst years for me honestly. Now that I think back, this year has been about change for me. This underlying main idea of my 2017 story.
Here are some reasons I think CHANGE is the theme of my year
A long ass speech from my favorite ex-boyfriend about how change is apart of life
Getting kicked out of my group chats cause I needed to get my shit together and change (which I did)
Christmas dinner where my Papi gave a speech about change and holding on to family
Many, Many tarot readings where the cards (mine and other peoples) roasted my ass
ETC!
All of these things took a toll on my year as a whole and next year I know I’ll be a better person because of it, at least I hope so.
Hidden Stage Directions and Summarizing
English I Honors students began 1.5 by looking at all the various stage directions that Shakespeare embeds in his text. We finished up with the tirade Tybalt goes on when he discovers Romeo’s presence.
