We are playing a standard game and had a quick question. When my opponent passes priority on his post combat main phase I activate haunted dead pitching 2 prized amalgams to come back at his end phase. Since his main phase hasn't ended (both players pass priority) can he incendiary flow my haunted dead? I was under the impression he could, but we weren't sure.

Yes, this is correct. The stack is empty during his main phase and he has priority, so he can cast spells that aren’t instants or don’t have flash.
