fire lord azula allows you to copy spells while she's attacking. can you copy spells after damage but still during combat?

yes! you can! if we gave her first strike, we would be able to copy after first strike damage, but before regular damage, right? and generally things work similarly with or without first strike. which is a bit of intuition behind this ruling. (if first strikers were removed from combat after they first strike, then giving them double strike after first strike damage wouldn't work how people would expect it to.)

now actual rules instead of intuition. creatures are considered attacking until they are removed from combat or the combat phase ends (comprehensive rules link) and because she hasnt been removed from combat in any way, and the phase hasn't ended, she is still considered attacking, and so her copy ability will still trigger.

Hello. Thanks again for helping us. Question:4 players. AP(P1) announces the combat phase. P2 does nothing but P3 uses Spectral Searchlight to add mana to P1.Will P1 receives priority again? If yes, as the stack is empty, will him/her be able to play sorcery speed spells?Thanks again for your blog and you kindness.

Yes, they will. Activating an ability, even a mana ability, will cause priority to take another spin around the table before the current step or phase ends.

I was wondering if all players get priority during the upkeep step when there are no spells or abilities on the stack.

Yes.

When a player’s upkeep step begins, first any triggered abilities that triggered when the step began are put on the stack and then players get priority starting with the player whose turn it is.

Even if there are no triggered abilities to go on the stack, players still get priority in the upkeep step.

How does Reconnaissance give creatures a kind of vigalince and still allow them to deal combat damage and trigger the creatures attacking ability?

If you activate Reconnaissance on an attacking creature you control after it has dealt combat damage, either in the combat damage step or the end of combat step, then you’re able to untap it after it has dealt its combat damage, giving it pseudo-vigilance. This is possible because a creature doesn’t stop being an attacking creature until the combat phase ends and so it can still be targeted by Reconnaissance between combat damage being dealt and the second main phase beginning.

I know the mana pool emptys. Between steps but does it empty between combat phases? E.G. If I tap my Elvish mystic during declare attackers can I use that mana to cast wild growth during the declare blockers step?

The mana pool empties at the end of each step and each phase.

You can’t float mana from one step to another as you described.

Does a player losing in multiplayer during their own turn end that turn? Imagine player A is on 2 life, and player B casts a spell in A's turn. If player C kills A with a lightning bolt in response, does B's spell resolve or does the turn immediately end?

No, the turn will continue without the active player, so killing A doesn’t stop B’s spell from resolving here. The next player in turn order will be the first player to get priority in each step or phase.

When does Teferi's puzzle box begin to resolve? At the beginning of draw step before you draw any cards, or at the beginning of your first main phase after you've drawn your first card?

Whenever a step or phase begins, any turn-based actions for that step or phase happen first. e.g. you draw a card in your draw step. After these turn-based actions happen, any triggered abilities that trigger at the beginning of that step or phase will trigger. These triggers will then go on the stack before players receive priority. (Unless it’s the untap step, where no one ever gets priority, or the cleanup step where no one gets priority unless something triggers from the cleanup actions.)

So for Teferi’s Puzzlebox, you’ll first draw normally for your turn and then Puzzle Box’s trigger will go on the stack and resolve.

Can I use Glorious End on someone before they can untap their lands on untap step, essentially getting a full second turn?

No.

Players don’t receive priority in the untap step ever.

The earliest in a turn that you can cast Glorious End is the upkeep step, so your opponent will have had the opportunity to untap their lands and can cast a instants or spells with flash in response to Glorious End.
