Guilty until proven innocent || closed
The Doctor sat on the sitting room floor of the house he called 'home' for the last several months. It was a place he didn't outright hate, but couldn't wait to leave. The TARDIS was his real home and the place he felt most comfortable. Being separated from the TARDIS this long was agonizing for him. Much of the time it felt like there was a mental separation between them, though that was far from the case. Now that he was well enough to travel the only thing on his mind was getting her back.
That was why he rang the one person currently in possession of the TARDIS. She was his companion Sin. He had given her the TARDIS ten months ago, not wanting the temptation. Now, he wanted it back. He did say in exchange they would go on Caelum's first trip. It was something they discussed weeks ago. It would be just like old times, only with one extra person. Although he was a small, innocent, and rather vulnerable person, they didn't plan a trip that would be anywhere near being dangerous.
Despite his impatience he didn't plan to run off the second she arrived at the house. Sin hadn't seen Caelum in days, so she would likely want a little time to catch up and he hadn't even begun to pack the essentials. There would be at least an hour delay, if not more, before they truly left. He didn't mind too much. If he could survive months of being stationary, he could survive a few hours. At least, that's what he told himself as he continued to sit on the floor, biting at one of his nails absently.
