#MaineFallTrip2017: Happy Wednesday to all of my Tumblr followers and fans of my "ALM Fine Art And Photography" pages!! If you were wondering why I wasn't too active on social media during the weekend and week of Columbus Day, it was because I was on vacation with my family! This week was the second time this year that I was able to return to Freeport, ME with my family. We have just returned from our trip today! It was a fun, relaxing vacation that was well needed!! On our way back home, I stopped by the Freeport Post Office to mail out some postcards to send to people. After I mailed my postcards, I stopped by to take a photo of the map of the United States of America all covered in rope and stamps that were from each state. It was neat to see this in person again, as it caught my eye the last time I had seen this on the wall. For the first time in the past six years, we finally made it to check out Hogback Mountain, located in Marlboro, Vermont!! It was there that we were able to view the beautiful mountains and the fall foliage all throughout Vermont, New Hampshire, and Massachusetts outdoors on their observation deck. The location also had a gift shop and an indoor museum that we had a chance to check out. Even though we didn't have a chance to check out the museum, it was neat to be able to stop and shop for souvenirs and check out the beautiful scenery of this area during the fall. If you happen to be either in Maine or Vermont, be sure to check out these cool tourist attractions when you're on vacation. The weather coming back home was in the 50-60's sunny in the morning, then it became cloudy and eventually in New York, rainy on and off. It felt good to be on vacation to Maine again! Looking forward to another trip again soon to these beautiful states!! Happy Wednesday everybody. Enjoy the rest of your week.
