As if yesterday didn’t have enough action in it, Sophia went to urgent care for a nasty cough and cold that wasn’t letting her get enough breath in. 25 hours, two hospital rooms and more tests than you want to know about it may be pneumonia. She’s doing gold but is understandably camera shy unlike her shameless father. So we’re taking turns hanging with her as we watch endless hours of home renovation shows, get visits from the fantastic nursing staff here at Maine Med. From 1-2pm they kick out visitors so I’m enjoying some of the local fare and doing a bit of sketching. Also brought my Dalek book along just in case Sophia wants to hear about the baddest race on wheels. People, this is Howard. Howard, the people. Howard's sitting in my mom's hospital bed. Mom had a stroke today which could've been a hell of a lot worse if not for the quick and thorough surgery done as soon as she got in. Clearly she's doing better because she's talking politics and also telling the doctor all about how she was born on the other side of the hospital way back when. So that's my Sunday.
