Bath Moonrise by the old Carlton Bridge - Today was a particularly long and grueling day at work. I wanted to shoot the moon, but I was dead set on making it home as fast as I could. I pulled off at the last minute, and found a spot where I could see it coming up through the trees over Bath. Sometimes rushing things is very bad. In this case, I like the results. Maine Islands Moon - This was the image I had in mind when I climbed Bald Rock Mountain in Lincolnville for moonrise Tuesday night. I don’t know if I’m totally happy with it, because this is one of those times where I don’t feel like it conveys everything I was feeling. But that doesn’t matter. As soon as you lay eyes on it, it’s not my image anymore. You add your own feelings, your own experiences, your own interpretations to it. Now it is shared.
