Rank 1: Er Bryguar (A Seller)
Prerequisite: Renown 3 or higher with this guild, and must have purchased a shop worth at least 1,000 gp.

When you join this guild, you can choose to gain proficiency in one of the following skills; Deception, Intimidation, Persuasion.
You learn how to Barter. When you succeed on any Deception, Intimidation, or Persuasion check made on a creature you are attempting to purchase from or sell to, you may roll a Barter die; a d6. You gain a percentage discount or upcharge (your choice) to the price equal to the amount rolled by your Barter die. This discount or upcharge is not cumulative. You have a number of Barter dice equal to your Charisma modifier (a minimum of one). When you roll your Barter die, it is expended. All Barter dice are regained after you finish a long rest.
You automatically and successfully appraises common or well known items.
Any good merchant has to be able to speak with a variety of people in a variety of ways, and sometimes, it's best to let your hands do the talking. You can communicate with any intelligent creature and understand them in a simple fashion (as long as they can make hand gestures).
Special Role: Apothecary
Prerequisite: Rank 1, renown 5 with this guild, and an apprenticeship with an Apothecarian lasting at least 10 days.
You gain proficiency with alchemist's supplies, the herbalism kit, and with Intelligence (Medicine) checks.
An apothecary can spend an hour scavenging around in the environment and using fancy equipment to distill, purify and otherwise come up with a smorgasboard of alchemical ingredients.
Special Role: Auditor
Prerequisite: Rank 1, renown 5 with this guild, and an apprenticeship with an Auditor lasting at least 10 days.
You gain proficiency with calligrapher's tools, the forgery kit, and with Intelligence (History) checks.
You can accurately recall the conversations you have had with creatures in the last week, as well as their appearance and name(s).
You gain the ability to recognize any forgery at first glance. This includes items masked with illusion spells but does not grant you the ability to see what the true nature of the masked item is.
Special Role: Esotericist
Prerequisite: Rank 1, renown 5 with this guild, and an apprenticeship with a Esotericist lasting at least 10 days.
You gain proficiency with the poisoner's kit, tinker's tools, and Intelligence (Arcana) checks.
You are able to attune to one additional item, and attunement can be done instantaneously, as an action.
Merchant can detect magic items by touch. Unlike the Detect Magic spell, this works only on magic items rather than spell effects. It tells the merchant if the item is magic and its power level. Takes one minute.
Rank 2: Er Osellar (A Peddler)

Your Barter dice increases to a d8.
You’ve become accustomed to pickpockets, cheats and thieves. He gains advantage on perception and insight checks
Rank 3: Er Vaiwar (A Shopkeeper)
Prerequisite: Rank 2 and renown 25 or higher with this guild
You earn enough to support a wealthy lifestyle.
You can hire 1d4 Bryguarim to work in your shop for you, and an Auditor, Apothecarist, or Esotericist - as NPC Commoner companions.
You understand exactly how merchantry works, and know how to barter from it. You have advantage on any Deception, Intimidation, or Persuasion check made on a creature you are attempting to purchase from or sell to.
Your Barter dice increases to a d10.
Your skill with people is so great that you can figure out the surface thoughts of any humanoid with a bit of study. Takes one minute of interaction and by winning a insight vs deception contest your skill works like the first stage of the detect thoughts spell.
Rank 4: Er Vaktelear (A Merchant)
Prerequisite: Rank 3 and renown 50 or higher with this guild,
You earn enough to support an aristocratic lifestyle.
You can hire 2 Auditors, Apothecarists, or Esotericists - as NPC Commoner companions.
Your words themselves are able to influence others with ease. You can cast friends and vicious mockery at will, and can cast charm person once per short rest. Your spellcasting ability for these is Charisma.
No one can count money as quickly as a Merchant. In fact, they developed an extraordinary ability to almost instantly count money simply by having a good look on the amount of money there is to count. That the treasure is contained in a chest or scattered in a lair, the merchant will be able to say exactly how much coins of each types is present. An ability much praised by adventurers. Takes one minute and may include poking the treasure about.
