Gildamore's AAR
Journal #16 Entry #9
This city is wondrous. It has been a very long time since I've seen such an illustrious city, buildings built into a grove of beautiful pink trees. The University in the center of town is a giant pink tree people carved into what seems to be over a millennia ago.
All of us eager to finally be in an actual city, we explored the city, some individually, some in pairs. I headed off to the armory first, of course. As this is the City of Arcana, I imagined they'd have some cool magical weapons, but I honestly underestimated these elves. The blade they produced for me is almost impossible too much for me to describe, but I knew instantly that this was my weapon. It reminds me of the legendary blade held by the angel Tyrael, Azurewrath, and thus I name it Tyrael's Might.
Throughout the day, everyone was working towards the goal of gaining audience with the queen, and the path lead us to find a woman named Okeemi, our ticket into the castle to see the queen. She was last seen in a rough bar, and later found she had been taken upstairs by two men. Lo and behold, our two thief companions from the shrine.
Recognizing us, thinking we are on the same side, they agreed to take us up to their leader and to where Okeemi was being held and tortured. Elias came up with a plan to turn this criminal group in and free Okeemi, hopefully also giving us some renown throughout the city. The master of the human heist, Elias teleported everyone in the group and the three terrorists into a group of guards that the two little ones gathered together.
We were next instructed to parade out in front of the castle grounds for the Queen's amusement. I was hoping to find another way in less humiliating, but everyone else was all in and gallivanted Elias in front of the castle, which worked... Somehow.
We wait in a little waiting area for the queen for a very long time with a seemingly random cat companion. Helped pass the time, until at one point of total boredom, I happen to sense anything pure good or pure evil to my great surprise: this cat on my lap is a celestial.
