遅くなったし、畑で疲れた時は、コンビニ焼鳥。それに合わせるのは、中重で一口目はやや重厚な感じがすると言われてるけど、私にはそんなことなく最初からスルスル入る心地良い味わいのアルゼンチンのマイペ。マルベックという品種は全くというほど知らないのは品種よりも自分との相性優先の呑兵衛だからかも。飲み干した後に少し苦味が残るけど、1000円ワインということを思うと気にならない。 病院、買い物、畑とあちこち走り回ったので思うほど事務処理が進まなかったが、ついワインを開けてしまった。 #マイペ #MAIPE #アルゼンチンワイン #MALBEC #KALDI #1000円ワイン

Tasting - Maipe

Name: Maipe Variety: Malbec Region: Mendoza Country: Argentina Year: N/A Price: $8.95 Winery Review: Deep purple color with violet tints, complex plum, fig, strawberry, spices and floral aromas; rounded and velvety tannins, excellent length with a distinguished character. Excellent when paired with game, roasted red meats, pasta or pizza.

My Review: Strong rasberry and spice aroma, which is also present in the mid-pallet. Not overly dry. I actually enjoyed this wine and I think it would go well with a juicy Argentinian steak.
