An update about my life: I stayed up till 3am last night reading the seven husbands of evelyn hugo and I finished it. So definitely feeling a little sick but still functioning <3

oh i've been meaning to read the seven husbands of evelyn hugo for SO LONG. i loved that u stayed up til 3am to finish it, that somehow feels like the right way to do it. (i'll let you know if i ever read it too!)

and honestly there hasn't been much going on today. other than 1989 TV ofc ahhhhHHHHH i am EXCITED for this one!!!! it's one of my fav taylor albums !!!! it's gonna be SO GOOD.

also, just for a fun little rant - it seems i've become a plant hoarder. like most times when i go to the cafe that my sister works at, i end up bringing home a little plant bc they have a fundraiser going, where u can donate and take a plant home <3 (they're cheap and ADORABLE.) and i just bought a hanging pot for my newest plant!! he's now happy and cozy in his new home, i'm very happy abt that 🥰 also been thinking abt trying out macrame, maybe making some hanging pots of my own <333

AND it's august now!!! that means it's almost spring for me, so i've been listening to my playlist ache (spring rain) a lot. plenty of wind and light rain and sunny days all mixed together lately, it's been really nice 🥰

It is one of my fav playlists so far!!!! And I know it's not spring here it's winter and it's a different kind of ache but still I'm enjoying it. I'll probably keep listening to it even when spring comes and it rains and I think of you! Every time I'm walking alone in the street or buying coffee on my own or waiting for the bus alone this quote comes to mind, and when it does I immediately start thinking of you

oh mais, this is so sweet and lovely!! i'm not sure how to explain the surge of emotion this caused but i can feel it kind of feel it throbbing in my chest right now, bc this is just so like, woah, yknow?

this quote is one that is always sitting in the back of my mind, ready to be thought of whenever i'm doing something alone - like you said, getting coffee or waiting for the bus - and it's such a nice comforting thing to think, really. it does make time spent alone feel more,,,, idk.... less lonely, ig?? i honestly love being alone, especially going for drives and thing like that but sometimes it can start to verge on the side of loneliness instead, and this quote really is a nice reminder to have in those moments.
