Tell me Maithe's backstory, teeth man!

so Maithe grew up in a small village, hys mom and hymn lived alone and sold novelty items and camping equipment to adventurers (think Stan Pines)
One day when sil was around 19 hy came back from gathering some food and found hys mom bleeding out. They panic and try to run to get help, not realizing the attacker is still in sils house. Sil basically gets caught just as hy’s leaving, and knocked out.
When they woke up they were tied up in hys own basement, and their mom’s attacker turned out to be a family “friend”.
Long story short hy spent the next 3 years captive in their own home. When sil finally escaped they had no money or assets and had to rely on wits and talent for survival. They end up as a clown and perform at parties, festivals, and on street corners, using their makeup and costume to hide their identity in case hys captor finds hymn.
