Journal 672, 26/2/14

     Today, I was listening to music on various websites while writing on my laptop, and in the suggestions, one of Maizono’s songs came up. She’s that really cheerful idol girl, in case you don’t remember. I’ve never actually heard any of her songs, so I decided to listen to a little bit of it, just to see what her music was like.

     Surprisingly, it wasn’t that bad. The song was pretty cute, to tell the truth. The dress she was wearing didn’t look comfortable at all— Too frilly, I think. There were layers everywhere. I haven’t the slightest clue how she could put it on, much less dance in it. And the makeup, oh man, that must’ve taken hours to get on.

     There were all sorts of nice comments on the video. Everyone really, really loves Maizono and her group. In Hope’s Peak, she’s pretty popular there too. Everyone loves her. I suppose I can’t help but be somewhat jealous. She’s pretty, I’m as ugly as it gets. She’s got tons of friends, I’m all alone. All the guys love her, and my white knight barely even accepts my existence. She’s super cute and generally accepted as adorable, I’m…well, not.

     That’s not Maizono’s fault, though. It’s my own. She deserves her popularity, and I deserve my loneliness.
