okay, so the man was holding out his hand. was this supposed to be a handshake or a hug? rey paused, staring at the other before deciding what to do. people on this planet did weird things ---- maybe the hug was the appropriate thing to do. she leaned in to hug the other, then realized that was definitely not what they were going for. quickly she pulled back, embarrassed at the whole thing. “that was ---- bad. sorry, i thought you wanted a hug? ugh, sorry.”
