Given that the new Tomodachi Life game came out this week, I have to share a story related to that!
A few years ago, we made a Tomodachi Life shared game in which we added all of our friend group and a few others, and as expected, there were a lot of funny pairings that we laughed at and brushed off. That was all except one of them, where one of the people involved suddenly stopped to think "wait, actually..."
So fast forward a few weeks and she's having a full on romantic crisis and is actually thinking about starting the relationship irl, and after a few words of encouragement from some friends, she went for it and asked him out.
And now, sorry to any English speaking readers because I can try to translate it, but it just won't be the same. After approximately 500 "umm... uhh..." her words were:
"De un tiempo a esta parte, me has estado cayendo majete."
("For a bit of time until now, you have seemed like a nicey guy to me." Yes, it was as awkward as it sounds.)
His answer was: "Yeah, you too".
And thus, true love was born. They have been happily in a relationship since then, and no one in our friend group is able to hear the word "majete" without laughing.
