She self-written and produced the film, she started out as today’s society feminine ideal standard then transforms to the male ideal in a inspiring manor. The video has a positive reaction from the public and she received thousands of messages the next day filled with positivity. The 5-minute video has had over 3 millions views.
Rose described the video as “a short film about gender roles, Trans, and what it is like to have an identity that deviates from the status quo.” During a recent interview with Net-A-Porter, the Australian model-actress-VJ-recording artist said she was confused about her gender as a child. “I didn’t like girls' clothes. I wasn’t comfortable with Barbies," Rose said. "I would slick back my hair and pretend that I was a guy."
