Sometimes I feel like I'm the only Tokimeki Tonight fan in my country (I'm French) where this manga is just unknown, and I'm feeling sad but when i see @brickme and @tokimek1-starrynight 's post I'm feeling happy and hyped to see Tokimeki updates.

I don't even have Japanese origins but with some research and perseverance I could read the Italian edition, which changed my life. I even took Italian as a second foreign language after English at middle school only for this manga haha.

I was 12 when i saw Ribon colored chapter pages on @hoshinohitomi thanks to Google images and I fell in love with Ikeno's art. ❤️ Honestly I was already aware of Ribon's history because of French sources and a wonderful french editor (Kana) that talked about this magazine and their hits in Shinshi Doumei Cross's last pages on the french version.

So thank you to the vintage manga community for sharing your collection and colored pages, you've made a person really happy and more passionated about Ribon's history. I even own a few 80s and 90s Ribon magazines today and i buy a lot of Ribon tankoubon in a used-bookstore when i can go to Paris (I'm even not in Paris, I'm only in 2 hours of train to Paris and I go to Paris to purchase some RMC/Ribon magazines and to attend conventions as an artist and a fan of fanzines.). Now i have a huge tankoubon collection but when I'll be in my new home I'll take some photos of my collection if there's some available room in my bookshelf haha.

If there's some Tokimeki fans in France I'd be happy to talk about my favorite manga with y'all !! ❤️
