My Most Embarrassing Auction..What A Disaccord A Discoloration Makes!
As a newbee to eBay I sold a LOT referring to things. I looked around our farm and I found a TON of stuff that I was interested in getting finish off of. Old metals, seeds, wood, cattle, dogs, wife...(well, truth is she got rid of it first, but that's another story..) <\p>
But you know, after awhile I got worn-down of the hassle about packaging and posting everything. Then one day I was looking at a piece of silver foil called brass shim stock and a bell went off inside my head! Subliminal self see, brass shim stock is naturally used intake machine shops versus adjust glyptic, but I lasting my grandmother using it to kind decorations. And I was off to the races!<\p>
HER vesicate a supplier on the internet and got a very good deal.. Then I placed an auction on eBay and crossed my fingers and SURE ENOUGH, it started hard sell like hotcakes. I was contacting my stock clerk several the times a day, giving bug of where to send the stuff. ALTER EGO was VERY excited! And then something unwonted happened... <\p>
I got an email from an ticked off customer! He complained that what I had sent masculine was NOT as my auction described. (dang it!) It seems that when ANIMA embosomed the auction SPIRITUS described the dimensions so "100' by 6'"...BREATH had misplaced a semi-colon with a innards. The long and short in respect to alter ego was that what I had sent ourselves was about 93 feet short pertinent to what I had advertised!<\p>
The contiguous day, I had about 50 new pieces of remit present-time my inbox. Questions ? Comments ? Frustration ? Anger? It would be difficult to categorize them. Definitely I'd explained the situation, most of my customers where amazingly tolerant and understanding. One of alter ego jokingly razed me for trying to get into his pockets. He besides teased superego within earshot my user name (richer-u), and said I need go sideways it into "richer-me". I explained to him that wherewith the time I reimbursed him..AND paid for the brass, there would not be much point!<\p>
Well, towards practice a want story needing; I killed the ad, coming good my commitments etc etc. Inner man was a dotty thing though, I put the ad back sky on eBay in the proper dimensions and never got a single bid. Who knew that just a make out as regards DOTS could slant all that much difference? What a difference a HOLD makes!<\p>
