Today on the Logan angst agenda: How bad do we think Logan feels after POF?
I'm not really talking about getting talked over the whole episode. Im not talking about getting skipped. I'm not even really talking about him getting replaced by Janus. Although those play major factors in my point
I'm talking about how when Janus replaces him, everyone is willing to listen to him even though they weren't when he was the one talking.
Think about it! Throughout the entire episode up until the skip he isn't listened to at all. Nobody stops to read his textboxes after that first one. Even after explicitly asking for his input, Patton cuts him off and skips him. But when Janus pops up wearing his Logan disguise, everyone stops to listen. Even Roman who notoriously ignores Logan's input agrees with Janus and says "actually I would like to know Patton"
This means that it isn't just that they're so used to drowning Logan out that they do it without a second thought, which may mean that his thoughts are worth something and useful if only they would listen, but it means that his contributions really aren't worth hearing out. Janus wearing Logan's face was still listened to more than Logan himself. Even if Janus was sharing information that the others didn't want, he was still listened to.
When Logan is sharing information that the sides directly asked for (Patton asking what other philosophers would think about what was being said) he is skipped and ignored. His thoughts just aren't worth listening to.
How worthless do we think he feels? How useless and unhelpful? If the Sides' entire purpose is to help Thomas then what's the point of a useless side?
