Ellen had always scolded Jo for being meddlesome, putting her nose into other people's business, but she couldn't help it. Alright, she could but in this case someone had to step in, right? Sam and Dean were not nearly as effective hunting on their own and, given all the people suddenly alive and congregating in Sioux Falls, she needed them on their A game. She pulled her phone from her back pocket and tapped it between her fingers thoughtfully. 

"To get involved or not..." she murmured to herself. The answer was simple, get involved, of course. Her thumb slid across the bottom of the screen, unlocking the phone and she tapped the icon for text messages, typing out a few lines with her thumbs. 

Dean, it's Jo. We need to talk. Call me or come by the bar ASAP. It's really important. 

Now all she had to do was wait.
