I've been hearing beeping every night for days now, but only when I'm in the bedroom. I stood under the only smoke detectors in our apartment (both in and right next to the room) for a few minutes and didn't hear a beep from either of them. However, when I lie back in bed I hear chirping every 5-20 seconds. I feel like I'm going insane.
