God, Moth, your writing is so good. It just makes me want to go back to drawing or writing and jot down all the ideas I have but I just get so disappointed in myself just by looking at how late I am with med school lecs. Moreover, the imposter syndrome and guilt kicks in.
Do you ever feel like that sometimes? If so, how do you deal with it?
oh boy howdy do I.
Trust me, 90% of the time when I'm wiritng especially, I sit there and go 'but this has totally been done before' or 'is this honestly really interesting?? will anyone actually give a shit??'
Like, when I first posted my first fic up on Ao3, it was actually a genshin-ified re-write of a fic I wrote back when I was like...14?? (hetalia fic no less, god i am an ancient kreacher) I wasn't actually expecting it to...lead anywhere?? It was just..something to do during another lockdown.
but as I've found, specifically when it comes to writing, once you find that niche of a fandom, things tend to just...settle into place?
fuck i went on a three month hiatus and still somehow managed to gain followers and I have no idea what any of ya'll are doing here, there are infinitely more talented writers out there.
but the thing that keeps me going Ig is the fact that my stuff makes people happy.
I claim I dislike people, but also I just like making any interaction anyone has with me a good one, so if my funky writes about a skrunkly dragon man in a viddy gaem do that? I'll keep doin it.
I just got the best facial ever.

I mean: We all have the same 24 hours each day, right? But why is it then, that it sometimes seem as though some people have so much more time to focus on their passion(s)? It really comes down to one very simple word:
Prioritize
Prioritize your tasks, make a plan
When you set your priorities and decide how important…
