Make-up help
Okay so I make have never actually put on make up myself before lol and Im not saying it's a bad thing. If you don't wear make up, good for you, I'm right there with you. I personally don't think make up is an every thing and is more of important event type thing but I do want to learn. So I was wondering if y'all knew any tutorials that are actual beginner? I'm not worried about priming and all that. I want just basic simple eye make up. I have watched a few that were just eye shadow but I honestly I didn't like their way of explaining. So I figured tumblr was a good place to reach out and see if any one knew any good tutorials.
do i need to use a primer before foundation? also do i need to use a moisturizer? like i have pretty good skin in general it's just that my cheeks have a very uneven tone and i want to use a heavier foundation to blend them cause otherwise it looks weird when i contour. advice?
It’s super smart to post this at half past eight in the morning, because no one’s on Tumblr, but I can always reblog later:
Could someone a bit more make-up savvy than myself help me out?
I need a white/off-white liquid foundation. So far I’ve mainly used Kryolan TV Paint Sticks for my less conventionally coloured make-up needs, but I’ve now accepted the fact that my skin + cream make up = no. The sticks are awesome for contours/highlights but will crease and generally just flake off on larger areas of my face. I never have this problem when I use regular liquid foundation, so that’s why I’m looking into this now.
I have the pretty generic atopic Nordic skin that’s hypersensitive to everything, is very dry especially in winter time, and and is only marginally more tolerant of abuse in the summer. I’m also allergic to most things that make make up smell “nice”.
My go-to make up brand is Lumene, because while not necessarily very heavy-duty, they at least make products that don’t a. have funky odours in them, and b. won’t make my skin freak out immediately. Oh, and my own skin tone is pretty much the lightest shade on a generic highlight palette, so “just use a lighter foundation” isn’t an option.
tl;dr: is there a white/off-white liquid foundation out there, that doesn’t contain a whole bunch of unnecessary smelly crap, and would possibly work for my princess skin?
